KATHUA Jan 2: Continuing its drive against bovine smuggling, a team of Police Station, Hiranagar succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued four bovine animals.
Police team during checking at Dinga Amb checkpoint in the intervening night seized one Mahindra Bolero bearing Registration No JK08G-7693 which was illegally carrying bovine animals. In this process police saved four bovine animals.
Police registered a case FIR No 1/2018 under Section 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act and investigation has been taken up.
