Hiranagar police solves blind murder case Excelsior Correspondent KATHUA Jan 12: Police Station Hiranagar in a prompt and decisive action under the supervision of Shridhar Patil , SSP Kathua solved a blind murder case within 24 hours of the incident. In the early morning one person namely Herath Ram, S/o Kartik Patel, R/o Mirchad Chhattisgarh at present at Dayalachak reported at Police Station Hiranagar that one of his relatives spotted dead body of his brother namely Ved Ram in Tarnah Nallah behind Shivalik restaurant who was brutally murdered by some unknown persons in the intervening night of January 11 and 12, police said. Police after receiving the information registered FIR No. 07/2019 U/S 302 RPC and a police team headed by Ravinder Singh, SDPO Border along with Inspector, Arvind Sambyal rushed to spot. Police team based on evidences and information gathered by it regarding brutal murder, rounded up one suspect namely Arjun Sharma, S/o Chaman Lal of Pathwal Hiranagar who later on after sustained questioning confessed the crime and on his disclosure , Police team also recovered mobile handset and other items of the deceased. Further investigation is going on to ascertain involvement of any other person and facts of the incident.
