JAMMU, Mar 9: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved empanelment of 24 IAS officers as Additional Secretary/ Additional Secretary Equivalent for holding posts at the Centre.

The empanelled officers include Hirdesh Kumar, an IAS officer of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, now AGMUT.
Kumar is the only officer to be empanelled as the Additional Secretary at the Government of India level from AGMUT cadre.
