Kshatriya Mahasabha holds meet at Mumbai

JAMMU, Sept 3: A meeting of the National Executive Committee of the All India Kshatriya Mahasabha, was held in Mumbai.
The event was presided over by the national president, Kunwar Harivansh Singh, former MP of Pratapgarh, with Raghu Raj Pratap Singh, Raghavendra Singh Raju, and special guests such as Raja Kuldeep Singh, Devraj Singh from Kolkata, Rudra Pratap Singh from Telangana, Ramesh Singh, MLA from Jaunpur and Raghavendra Singh, MLA. All the State presidents and various royals were present.
Union Minister, Narayan Rane highlighted the proud history of Kshatriya and termed them as a warrior community. He emphasized that the Kshatriya community should evaluate its current status and consider its position in the country’s economy. He also stated that attention should be given to the poor within the Kshatriya community, especially in providing them with good education, which would help them improve their lives and contribute to the nation’s economy.
National general secretary, Kuldeep Singh Raja said that after the abrogation of Article 370, there has been a historic rise in tourism in Jammu and Kashmir, marking significant development. This has led to economic growth and increased employment opportunities in the region. He urged industrialists to come to Jammu and called for increased participation of the Rajput community in the State’s progress.
Dr. Kunwar Harivansh Singh, former MP said on the approval of proposals the Government should expedite the land allocation process for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Bhavan announced in Maharashtra and construction should commence soon. He demanded welfare initiatives for the Kshatriya community should be established and a law should be enacted to prevent the arrest of innocents under the Harijan Act, making Narco test, brain mapping test and polygraph test mandatory.
He further said the Government should declare India a Hindu nation, political reservations based on caste should be abolished; if needed, reservations should be provided to the economically disadvantaged, he added.
He said a Kshatriya representative should be nominated to the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Trust, the Shrimad Bhagvad Gita be declared the national scripture, five acres of land be made available in Lucknow for Maharana Pratap Bhavan Research Institute and Museum, the construction of Krishna Janmabhoomi should commence soon, and a decision should be taken at an earliest, construction should begin with public cooperation, as seen in Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Varanasi, and Prayagraj.
