JAMMU, July 20: In a significant breakthrough, Police Station Janipur has successfully solved a hit-and-run case registered on 04-05-2024.
Since the accident, the accused had been evading arrest, creating a challenging investigation for the authorities. To crack the case, a police team was formed under the leadership of PSI Sharaz Ahmed, with Constable Anil Dev Singh and SPO Pankush Jamwal.
After relentless efforts and meticulous investigation, the accused, Rohit Kumar son of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Shant Nagar (Janipur, Jammu) has been apprehended. The accident-causing vehicle, an Alto bearing registration number JK02AC-5241, has also been seized.
This development marks a significant step forward in the case and further investigation is currently underway.
