JAMMU, Sept 29: A meeting of Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM) was held at Geeta Bhawan Parade here, today in which the activists of HJM from all districts of Jammu participated.
The meeting was presided over by national co -convener of HJM, Prem Kumar Ji. He apprised the participants of the nationwide programmes of HJM.
The meeting was also attended by RSS, Sangchalak, Brig (retd) Suchet Singh and its Prant Karivah, Parshotam Dadichi.
The meeting unanimously decided that in J&K all programmes will now be organised under the banner of HJM instead of Hindu Raksha Samiti (HRS) as all programmes in entire country are also being organized under the banner of HJM.
Brig Suchet Singh also made announcement of the office bearers at State level. Takan Dass was appointed Prant Sangrakshak, Dr Ram Paul was appointed as Prant president and Ajay Manhas as Prant general secretary. Gurmeet Singh, Dheeraj Jandial, Ashok Gupta, Rajiv Ji and Sheetal Jamwal were inducted in Prant Working Committee.
The participants in the meeting decided that all district Committees will be framed by the end of this year. Besides, Women and Yough wings of the organisation will also be constituted.
