SRINAGAR, July 14: HK Hyundai here today launched the Hyundai Exter, a sporty entry-level SUV that aims to redefine the standards in its segment.
The vehicle is designed to cater to the preferences of India’s Generation MZ, adventurous and thrill-seeking customers, who value unique exteriors, spacious interiors, advanced safety features, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional performance.
A statement said that Shabir Ahmad Bulla and Nasir John Tak from J&K Bank were the guests of honor at the launching event. They unveiled the Hyundai Exter in the presence of Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Mir and Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Directors of HK Group.
Umar Yaqoob Mir, Managing Director of HK Hyundai, expressed his pride in introducing the Hyundai Exter, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to innovative design, intelligent technology, and exceptional performance.
He stated that the SUV’s modern and confident exterior, cutting-edge technology, and unparalleled safety features position it as a game-changer in the fast-growing segment.

Even before its official launch, the all-new Hyundai EXTER received over 10,000 bookings, indicating the high anticipation for the vehicle. Bookings are now open, with customers having the option to book the car online or offline at Hyundai dealerships.
Priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 9.32 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hyundai EXTER is based on the Grand i10 NIOS’ platform and is available in eight primary variants. It is positioned below the Venue in Hyundai’s SUV lineup and offers a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and bi-fuel engine options.
The Hyundai EXTER sets a new standard in its segment with its impressive features, including a Smartphone Wireless Charger (first in segment), Type C USB Fast Charger (best-in-segment), Cruise Control, Footwell Lighting (first in segment), Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) with Digital Display, and Smart Key with Push Button Start.
“Hyundai Exter also offers advanced convenience features, enabling customers to control certain functions through voice commands in English and Hindi using Alexa devices,” said Khalid Mustafa, Manager IT and Operations.
