JAMMU, Aug 2: A Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist, who was out on bail, went missing from his residence in Kulgam district today.

Following his disappearance, police have put up posters across Jammu and Kashmir in general and Jammu Bus Stand area in particular, where he carried out an attack back in 2019, killing two persons and injuring 32 others, seeking information about his whereabouts.

Yasir Javed Bhat, resident of Khanpora, Dassein village in Kulgam district was arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police from Nagrota area hours after carrying out March 2019 attack.
However, being a juvenile, he was later released from the custody.
After his recent disappearances, security forces have now issued a high alert besides intensifying efforts to locate him.
