SRINAGAR, Feb 14: The Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department today assigned charges for the posts of Chief Medical Officers, Block Medical Officers, and Medical Superintendents to several senior doctors.
According to the issued order, Dr. Tahir Sajad, Incharge BMO Magam, has been given the post of CMO Srinagar, while Dr. Tehmeena Banday, Incharge Deputy CMO Pulwama, has been appointed as CMO Pulwama.
Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, (MS Surgery), currently serving as CMO Doda, will take over as Medical Superintendent at Gandhi Nagar Jammu due to an available vacancy.
Effective from February 29th, Dr. Zulafkar Ahmad, Medical Superintendent at District Hospital Pooch, will assume the role of CMO Poonch. Dr. Vikramjeet Singh Tulla, I/C Superintendent Medical Kashmir Nursing Home, Gupkar, will oversee the position of Controller of Stores, (Health) Barzulla, Srinagar, due to an available vacancy.
Dr. Bashir Ahmad Malik, I/C Chief Medical Officer, Baramulla, will manage the responsibilities of Medical Superintendent at Kashmir Nursing Home, Gupkar, Srinagar. Dr. Tahir Sajad, Incharge BMO Magam, will also handle the duties of Chief Medical Officer, Srinagar.
Dr. Tehmeena, Incharge Deputy CMO Pulwama, will take on the role of Chief Medical Officer, Pulwama. Dr. Mastoora Akhter, Incharge BMO Pattan, will act as Chief Medical Officer, Baramulla.
Dr. Om Kumar, I/C Deputy CMO, Doda, will manage the duties of Chief Medical Officer, Doda, in addition to his own. Dr. Rajinder Kumar, Incharge Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Reasi, will take over as Chief Medical Officer, Kishtwar.
Effective from February 29th, Dr. Nusrat-ul-Nisa, Block Medical Officer, Mandi, will serve as Medical Superintendent at District Hospital, Poonch. Dr. Gopal Dutt, Block Medical Officer Katra, will manage the role of Medical Superintendent at District Hospital, Reasi.
Dr. Mohd. Taha Khan, Medical Officer Provincial Store Srinagar, will handle the duties of BMO Pattan. Dr. Mukthar Ahmad Malla, Medical Officer, DH, Shopian, will take on the responsibilities of BMO, Magam.
