Srinagar, Feb 6: The Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department has ordered the constitution of a committee to finalize the recruitment rules for various posts in different medical colleges across J&K.
H&ME has stated that to finalize the Recruitment Rules of Non-Gazetted Cadre of Government Medical Colleges of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, the committee has been formed “to work out the method of recruitment of various categories of posts in Government Medical Colleges, of UT of J&K.”
The committee has got members that include Dr Yashpal Sharma, Director (Coordination), New Medical Colleges, J&K, Chand Kishor Sharma, Additional Secretary Government, Health and Medical Education Department, Dr Sandeep Singh, Registrar, J&K Paramedical/Nursing Council, J&K, Jammu and. Pamposh Ganju, Under Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department.
However, the Government has not given out any time frame within which the exercise has to be completed.
