SRINAGAR, May 16: The Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department has ordered the transfer of administrative control of two District Hospitals to the newly established Government Medical Colleges (GMCs).
According to the order, District Hospital Handwara will now fall under the administrative control of GMC Handwara, while District Hospital Udhampur will come under the jurisdiction of GMC Udhampur.
This decision aims to streamline the management and operations of these hospitals by integrating them with the respective GMCs.
