Hockey: Indian skipper Sardar Singh accused of sexual harassment

NEW DELHI:  A British woman has lodged a written complaint against Indian hockey team skipper  Sardar Singh for alleged sexual harassment.

According to media reports, the 21-year-old has accused that Sardar, who is currently playing for the Punjab Warriors in the ongoing Hockey India League, had ‘mentally, physically and emotionally tortured’ her and also allegedly forced her to abort their child in 2015.

Ludhiana Police Commissioner P S Umranangal said  though, a written complaint has been filed but so far, they have not registered an FIR. (AGENCIES)
