Sir,
The letter “Deferment of KAS exams 2018′ D.E Sep 8 2018 depicts the indepth difficulties faced by studious and serious aspirants of KAS Examination. Every time it is postponed or deferred on one pretext or the other and those aspirants who are burning midnight oil to appear in KAS exam are left in lurch .More than 35000 students have to appear in the exam, but their future is spoiled by a bunch of candidates who are always hell bent to destroy the whole process of prestigious KAS exam.
It is a hard fact that UPSC never postpones or defers the civil services examination even under compelling circumstances .It never bows under any type of pressure or even in case of a natural calamity. But JKPSC is always in a whirlpool of controversies and pressures from various quarters. Moreover, there is a deferment gang always pressurising to postpone the KAS exam on one pretext or other as a result of which serious studious students feel depressed and dejected leading to frustration and other connected ailments.
It is pertinent to mention here that process of KAS 2014 was completed in 2017and 2016 KAS exam process is on same track and has been postponed many times. Similarly 2018 KAS exam for 71 posts is being hijacked by this group. This powerful Deferment group instead of studying and preparing for exam is always approaching authorities or even going to court to stall the whole process on flimsy grounds. Even it might be a big conspiracy to keep the young upcoming intelligentsia out of administration and policy making process of the State.
Hence keeping in view to save the young KAS aspirants from uncertainty and wastage of their time and labour I request JKPSC and our governor Satya Pal Malik to hold KAS exams on schedule
