JAMMU, Sept 15: Former Member Parliament and Vice President J&K Forum for Peace and Territorial Integreted Sheikh Abdul Rehman said that India should hold dialogue with Pakistan.
He stated this while interacting with media persons here today.
“It is very unfortunate that despite Pakistan’s offer for dialogue, Indian leaders are not responding to their offer by saying that militancy and talks can’t go together”, he said, adding that Indian leadership should hold talks with Pakistan to curb the militancy.
He added that there is no other way to curb the militancy. With dialogue with Pakistan, the militancy can be curbed, he asserted.
“Indian leadership are focusing on communal polarisation and not taking decisions of talks to curb the militancy”, he said, adding that Indian leadership should hold talks with Pakistan as soon as possible.
