JAMMU, July 17: 12th Chhari Mubarak Yatra of Shri Mata Chamunda Devi Sarvadhar Wali Sarvadhar Senabathi Pogal-Paristan must be develop as tourist and pilgrimage spot, said Kr Rajeev Charak.
The 12th Chhari Mubarak Yatra of Mata Chamunda Devi Ji started from Rameshwar Mandhir, Pacca Talab, Bahu Fort, Jammu for Sarvadhar, Pogal-Paristan, Banihal.
The Chhari will reach the holy shrine on July 19. The Chhari Mubarak was led by its Patron in Chief and State convenor, Training Cell, BJP, Kr Rajeev Charak and it was flagged off by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu,  Sunil Sharma.
Hundreds of yatris from Jammu participated the Chhari Mubarak Yatra and thousands of yatris from Ramban, Doda, Bhaderwah, Jammu, Samba and Kathua will accompany it on the last day i.e. July 19 for the holy Darshan of Mata Chamunda Jee.
Speaking during the flagging off of the yatra  Mr Charak said that it is the largest holy Yatra of district Ramban and the Government of the State must announce holiday on this day and the spot must be developed as tourist and pilgrimage spot. Rajeev Charak said that it is the misfortune of the people of the Sarvadhar, Pogal Paristan area that the bad condition of the area is being observed from a long time of twelve years but the Government of J&K as well as the local MLA have ignored this area.
The road connectivity, electricity, drinking water facility are in its bad condition and there is no facility of shelter for the Chhari Mubarak yatra.
Rajeev Charak said that the claims of State Government and local MLA of high development in the area are totally baseless.
Those who spoke on the occasion including Hardesh Khokhar, Vivek Kumar Patiyal, Satish Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Rajinder Nagotra, Rattan Pal Sharma, Sher Singh Khokhar and Vinod Khokhar.
