JAMMU, Oct 7: The holy Jyot was taken to Pingla Devi shrine in Ramban district on first Navratra.
Over 30,000 devotees participated in the procession which took the holy Jyot from Ramban to Bhavan. The devotees enroute were reciting bhajans and chanting the religious hymns in the praise of Goddess Durga.
The religious activities will continue in the Bhavan during the nine day long Navratra festival.
