Homage paid to martyrs of Parliament attack

JAMMU, Dec 13:  To pay homage to the martyrs of the Parliament attack by the Pakistani terrorists on December, 13, 2001, the J&K Freedom Fighters Association held a function at Dogra Shaurya Sthamb, Ambphalla, hell today.
Aditi Sharma, prominent social worker was the chief guest, who lit candles for the common citizens who became the victims of the bullets of the terrorists and floral tributes were paid on their remembrances. Speaking on the occasion, the members praised the will of the common man of Mumbai, who discarded such an heinous crime by the Pakistani based terrorists.
They remembered the martyrs who laid their lives for the freedom of the motherland and also asked the Kashmiri youth to follow the path of sacrifice shown by the freedom-fighters and join the mainstream by discarding the separatists and work for the welfare of the poor and the needy.
The members also remembered Netaji Subash Chander Bose, S Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, Chander Shekhar Azad, Maharani Laxmi Bai, Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Abdul Hamid and other known as well as unknown freedom fighters and Martyrs who paved way for our generation to live a free life.
The function was organized by Ved Gandotra, president, Freedom Fighters Association.
