JAMMU, Nov 24: All J&K Home Guard Welfare Association here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Kamla Sharma.
The protesters were demanding duties for all the 365 days of the year and benefits at par with their counterparts in other parts of the country.
The protesters said that the authorities concerned should concede their demands by December 10, 2022 else they will proceed towards Union Capital to press the government for redressal of their genuine demands.
National Team members Manoj Kapla, Jalkan Singh Rathore, Joginder Choharia, Kamal Thakur, Rakesh Kumar, Rajesh Chouhan, Satish Panchori, Raj Shekhar, Rita, Anirudh Dixit and others were also present in the protest.
