JAMMU, Dec 17: Union Home Secretary RK Singh today deferred his one day visit to Jammu following some pressing engagements in the Union capital in view of the Parliament session.
Official sources told the Excelsior that Mr Singh, who was scheduled to hold high-level review of security scenario in two separate meetings at Civil Secretariat and Police Headquarters, would visit Jammu, the winter capital of the State, in next few days.
Authorities here received a message of postponement of the Home Secretary’s visit late last night.
Mr Singh was also scheduled to conduct aerial survey of Mughal road and railway construction work at Banihal.
