NEW DELHI, May 1: Amid worsening of law-and-order situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Governor N N Vohra will be meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh tomorrow to discuss future course of action.
The Governor may also call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apprise him about the situation in the State which saw a bloody Monday with seven persons killed in Kulgam and bodies of two soldiers mutilated in Jammu region along the Line of Control.
Ahead of his meeting with Singh, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi today met Vohra and discussed with him the prevailing situation in the State.
During the 20-minute meeting, Mehrishi and Vohra reviewed the ground situation in the Valley and the steps taken to control the situation. (PTI)
