JAMMU, Apr 6: Union Home Secretary LC Goyal is visiting Jammu and Kashmir on three days visit for high level review of security situation from April 9. This will be first visit of Goyal to the State after taking over as the Union Home Secretary.
Official sources told the Excelsior that Mr Goyal will hold high level security review here on April 9 with top brass of Central Police Forces, police and civil administration. He will visit the International Border (IB) for on spot assessment of the situation.
After night halt in Jammu, Goyal will visit Srinagar on April 10, where he will hold another high level security review and visit cross-LoC Salamabad route to take steps to boost trans-border trade and travel.
He will return to New Delhi on April 11.
