JAMMU, Aug 31: A meeting of Homeopathic Medical Association of India J&K Branch unit Kathua was held today under the chairmanship of Dr B R Dubb president of the Association.
It demanded that 56 posts of Homoeopathic medical officers and 72 posts of  Dispensers /Pharmacists (Homoeopathic) sanctioned at an earliest so that 156 unemployed qualified homoeopathic doctors are appointed in district hospitals /PHCs/CHCs etc as already recommended by J&K Homoeopathic Board.
It demanded removal of present registrar of the Board  and appointment of new registrar, establishment of Government Homoeopathic Medical College at State level and 50 bedded hospitals be established at divisional level and district level in the State.
It stressed on opening of Homoeopathic Dispensaries at the pattern of ISM in every Panchayat and block level,  representation of Homoeopathic be ensured in district Kalyan Samiti, National Ayush Council and State Health Society, seeks special attention of Government towards Homoeopathy in the State, demanded regular supply of Homoeopathic medicine to the Homeopathic Health Care Unit of the State , completion of pending registration of B category Homoeopathic Practitioners, opening of training institutes of paramedical staff, in the State and at district level, opening of State level separate administrative wing of Homoeopathic like ISM at Divisional level and equal share be provided to unemployed  Homoeopathic doctors in the National Urban Health Mission.
