JAMMU, Apr 5: State Home Department has accorded sanction for payment of honorarium in favour of CAPF/SAP personnel deployed on election duty during the conduct of Lok Sabha elections-2019.
For a period of 15 days or less, Gazetted officers and Subordinate officers will be paid Rs 2500 and Rs 2000, respectively while for other rank (Constable, Head Constable), the honorarium shall be Rs 1500.
In case period of deployment is more than 15 days, the honorarium shall be Rs 1250 per week for Gazetted officers, Rs 1000 per week for Subordinate officers and Rs 750 per week for other rank.
The expenditure incurred on this account will be borne by the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K.
