SRINAGAR, June 26: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen D S Hooda accompanied by Lt Gen Subrata Saha, GOC 15 Corps today called on Governor N N Vohra here at the Raj Bhavan.
Lt Gen Hooda briefed the Governor about the current security environment, the pattern of recent infiltration attempts, ceasefire violations across the IB and LoC, other significant developments and the arising situation.
The Governor discussed with Lt Gen Hooda several issues relating to effective internal security management in the State and preparedness for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
