NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed hope that the Budget Session of Parliament will be fruitful and there will be constructive criticism of the government. ”I wish that the Parliament session will be fruitful and there is constructive criticism as well,” Mr Modi said addressing mediapersons in Parliament premises, moments ahead of the commencement of the session. Mr Modi said Parliament should be used for deep discussion. ”Sadan ka upyog gehen vichaar vimarsh ke liye hona chahiye,” he Modi said. The Prime Minister also said that he hoped that there will be extensive discussion on issues related to common people of the country. The Budget session of Parliament which began today, is likely to be stormy with discussion on higher education institutions dealing with the suicide of Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula and the JNU sedition case, where the first showdown between the government and the Opposition is expected to take place.
