LEH, Apr 29: Horker Poyen defeated Friends Kako Shilikchey in the finals and lifted the Sharjah Cup Cricket Tournament at Sharjah ground Akchamal.
On the concluding day, Acting Chief Executive Councillor, Haji Ghulam Amir Kamran and MLA Zanskar Ahmed Khan were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively, who distributed prizes among the winner and runner-up in presence of Ajaz Hussain Munshi, sarpanch Akchamal Liquait Ali, citizens and sports lovers.
While speaking, Ahmed Khan said that the youth should focus on education as well so that the future generation will become a competent society.
Haji Ghulam Amir Kamran, in his speech threw light on the importance of sports in present scenario. He said that sports plays pivotal role for the overall development of body viz mentally and physically.
