REASI, Apr 10: Doctors and para-medical staff in District Hospital Reasi today went on a flash strike in protest against alleged harassment by the police over recovery of a fetus here few days ago.
The protesting staff and doctors raised slogans against Police and suspended the work for more than two hours till Additional District Development Commissioner reached the spot and pacified the agitators.
Reports said that the trouble erupted this morning when SHO Reasi alongwith cops   reached the hospital and allegedly asked some doctors to appear before police in connection with questioning over recovery of a fetus last month.

Later the Additional District Development Commissioner reached the spot and assured necessary action. Additional DDC made it clear that no doctor or the para-medical staff could be taken to Police Station without necessary warrants for the same.
