JAMMU, Apr 17: A man, who was working in a hotel in Katra, was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in Sidhra area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the dead body of an unknown man of age about 28 years was spotted this morning by some people on Sidhra Road near ASCOMS Hospital. He said the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem.
“Later, in the evening, the deceased man was identified as Sunil Parihar, son of late Rakesh Kumar, resident of Thathri (Doda), who was presently working in a hotel in Katra and had come to Jammu regarding some work”, he said, adding in this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC had been initiated at concerned police station.
