Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra decides to reduce entry fee soon

KATRA,  Aug 31: A meeting of the Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra was held here today under the chairmanship of its president  Rakesh Wazir  for discussion over some important issues concerning members of the Association.
The meet  was informed that a decision with regard to the reduction in one time membership registration fee from Rs 15,000  and one time settlement of the defaulting arrears of some of the members of the Association, will be taken very soon. Besides, early enrolment of non-members on no entry fee as associate member  to  enjoy  all benefits of the Association including free listing in directory, attending of  functions, get-to-gethers, training to the staff etc except their right of voting, were also discussed.
Mr Wazir said that the Association will start the process of making the Directory/ Tourist guide of the Association and asked the members to send the details of their establishments for free listing as well as for the paid pages at the earliest. He said the Association will start recruitment office soon from where the employees will be provided to the hotels.  Similarly,  the Association will start a help line  through which hotels will get services like Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, painters etc, he added.
On the occasion, the outgoing president of the Association, Shyam Lal Kesar was honoured  by the members.
Mr  Kesar in his new capacity as chairman of the association,  said that the training of the staff of different hotels will be started free by the association. He  asked the members to send the name of the employees to whom the training is required. He said that the family get together of the families of the members on quarterly basis will also be started.
The meeting among others,  was attended by Virender Kesar, Harish Kumar Dubey, Madan Aggarwal, Karan Singh, Vivek Sharma, Ashu Magotra, Dharun Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Ajay Kotwal, Rohit Sharma, Nishant Sharma, Amit Rahi, Sumit Khajuria, Rohit Dubey, Munish Kapoor, Parbhat Singh, Aashiq Bhatt, Arun Baru and  Sonu Sharma.
