JAMMU, Feb 26: Chairman of Legislative Assembly, Mohd Sharief Niaz today adjourned the House due to lack of quorum.
During the Zero Hour, some members from the Opposition pointed out lack of quorum following which Chairman counted the number of members present in the House and on finding the strength less than the mandatory he adjourned the House.
As only one Minister Mir Saifullah was present in the House, former Minister and National Conference MLA from Vijaypur, Surjit Singh Slathia remarked, “this indicates the seriousness on the part of the Ministers”.
