POONCH, Apr 20: Two rooms of a residential house were damaged in a fire incident at Jhulas in district Poonch last mid night.
Official sources said that at about 1:20 AM, fire broke out in a residential house at Central Jhulas. The family members and neighbourers started extinguishing fire followed by the J&K Police team headed by incharge Police Post Jhulas, but till the fire was brought under control, two rooms received severe damages.
Incharge Police Post, SI Naresh confirmed the incident and identified house owner as Parveen Kumar, son of Kundal Lal, while the cause of fire is being ascertained.
Meanwhile, District Administration of Poonch, led by Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, has distributed a relief amount of Rs 30,000 to the victim of fire incident.
In response to this unfortunate event, the administration acted swiftly to provide financial assistance to those affected. Kundal emphasized the administration’s commitment to supporting the community during challenging times.
