POONCH, June 25: A three storey residential house was gutted in fire due to electric short circuit at Wazli Gagrian area in Poonch.
Officials said that, during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, a house caught fire due to short circuit in which huge loss of property was reported.
Six families were residing in this house and the heads of the families have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, Gulzar Ahmed, Abdul Hamid sons of Samad Bhat, Habibullah, Ali Bhat, sons of Rahim Bhat and Abdul Majid, son of Ghulam Mohd Bhat.
Station House Office Mandi, Bashir Kohli said that locals tried their best to extinguish fire but house gutted in fire within no time, resulting loss of property, while no loss of life was reported.
