UDHAMPUR, May 18: A residential house was gutted in an accidental fire at village Kansal in Lander Panchari area, here today.
According to reports, fire broke out in the residential house of Ganesh Singh, son of Chanchal Singh of village Kansal. As there is no fire brigade facility in this hilly area, the blazes soon engulfed the entire house even as the family members tried their best to control the fire with the help of locals.
The house was completely gutted in the fire but fortunately there was no loss of life. Cause of the fire could not be ascertained. The affected family has been shifted to nearby house while Panchari police has registered the case in this connection.
