UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: A house was completely gutted in fire at Latti in Udhampur, here last night.
Reports said that house of Kashori Lal, son of Late Hans Raj, was gutted in fire all of sudden in the mid night at Panchayat Latti B in tehsil Latti.
Even as the local tried their best to extinguish the flames, the fire engulfed the entire house with the result all belongings of the family were reduced to ashes. However, there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone in the incident.
Locals lamented that damaged caused due to no Fire Service Station in the area despite an assurance by the DC Udhampur, who had announced a Fire Service vehicle with 5 men.
