House gutted in major fire incident

POONCH, May 13: A residential Kacha house belonging to Baba Teja Singh gutted in a major fire incident in border village of Ajote in Poonch district today.
Official sources said that soon after receiving the information of fire incident, Fire and Emergency services team, J&K Police, Indian Army along with locals reached the spot and started extinguishing fire but till it was completely controlled, house was gutted while family members said that an old temple in the house also received full damage.
Parvinder Singh, son of house owner Teja Singh said that suddenly fire broke out in the house which was later controlled but house and an old temple in it, was damaged. “We urge the district administration to built the temple here again”, he added.
Station House Officer, Poonch Insp Kunal Singh Jamwal said that fire incident report was entered in Police station Poonch and started investigation.
