KISHTWAR, Jun 26: A residential house gutted in a mysterious fire at Matta area of Kishtwar District today.
Officials said that house of Rangil Singh Bhutyal son of Hukum Chand Bhutyal of Matta caught fire mysteriously.
Accordingly, they said, SHO Kishtwar, Tehsildar Kishtwar, Fire tenders, Red Cross team, 26 RR Battalion of Army, CISF unit, 52 CRPF Battalion, and youth of the Kishtwar reached at the spot and contained the flames after hectic efforts.
However, the residential house was gutted completely, no loss of life was reported in the incident fortunately.
Meanwhile, police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of the fire.
