KATHUA, Mar 19: A young house wife hanged herself to death at her house at Hiranagar this morning.
She has been identified as Radha Devi, 21, W/o Rohit Singh R/o village Landi on International Border in Hiranagar Sector. The family had one house at Hiranagar and yesterday she had come to stay at Hiranagar House all alone.
This morning when her inlaws enquired about her they informed her parents who were also residing in Hiranagar and told them that they had not information about her since yesterday. Her relatives visited to her residence at Hiranagar and they found that the house was locked from inside. They broke the house and were shocked to see Radha hanging with a ceiling fan. They informed the matter to police which took the body into its custody. After the postmortem at SDH Hirangar the dead body was handed over to family for last rites. The Hiranagar Police has registered a case in this regard under Section 174 RPC.
