KATHUA, May 12: A young house wife committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan at her residence in Hatli Morh area near here, today.
She has been identified as Anuradha, 25, wife of Tara Chand of Hatli Morh. The cause of her extreme step was not known. She is mother of two daughters. Hatli police has registered a case under Section 174 IPC in this regard and started investigation.
Her dead body was handed over to the family for last rites after autopsy at District Hospital Kathua.
