JAMMU, Jan 20: Two persons including a housewife allegedly consumed some poisonous substances at their respective residents.
As per police sources, a person identified as Vijay Kumar (37), son of Munshi Ram of Domail allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, the family members shifted him to District Hospital, from where he was later referred to GMCH Jammu for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, a lady identified as Santosh Devi, wife of Rishu, a resident of Kud allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance.
She has been shifted to District Hospital, where she was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started to ascertain the reasons behind such extreme steps by them.
