KATHUA, July 26: A housewife died in accident at Barnoti, falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua police station.
As per police sources, a car bearing registration number JK02BD-5188, which was on its way to Jammu from Amritsar, was hit by a divider at Barnoti, resulting a lady travelling in the car received serious injuries.
The profusely bleeding lady was rushed to District Hospital, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The body of the deceased identified as Anju Gupta, wife of Vijay Gupta, a resident of Trikuta Nagar Jammu has been handed over to family members for last rites after conducting autopsy.
A case in this regard has been registered at Kathua police station and investigation started.
