REASI, Dec 24: A young housewife committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at the house of her in- law at Seela, under the jurisdiction of Reasi Police Station, here today.
The deceased was identified as Reena Rani, age 32 years, wife of Satpal Dogra, resident of Ward number 5, Seela, Reasi. She allegedly consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her house.
The family members shifted her to District Hospital Reasi where she died during treatment. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
