UDHAMPUR, Feb 27: A young housewife received serious burn injuries under mysterious circumstances at the house of her in-laws near Roun Domail, here today.
The victim was identified as Sonia (35) wife of Krishan Singh. She was rushed to the District Hospital by the family members.
Even as the family members claimed that the burn injuries were received accidentally while cooking food, Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a woman pedestrian was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Shiv Nagar area in the town, here today.
The injured, identified as Sushama Sharma (32) wife of Raman Sharma of Shiv Nagar, was shifted to hospital and her condition was stated to be stable.
