JAMMU, Nov 18 : The J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd Jammu celebrated 61st Cooperative Week by organizing a function at its Head Office in New Plot Jammu.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of flag by the chief guest V K Magoo, Chairman J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd, in the presence of Board Director and officials of the Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Magoo gave details of the working of the Cooperative Housing Sector and said that main objective of the Cooperative Week celebration was to increase the public awareness and motivate people to join this sector. He also suggested various steps and measures to make the Cooperative relevant and competitive.
Directors Shanti Devi, Balbir Singh, Ramesh Chander and Vinod Sawhney of Tawi Cooperative House Building Society also addressed the gathering.
Proceedings of the function were conducted by Bharat Bhushan, Managing Director of the J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd, Jammu.
