How Aseemanand’s bail is different to Lakhvi, questions Omar

SRINAGAR :  Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has questioned justification to grant bail to Samjhauta Express blast  accused Swami Assemanand and asked as how it is different from granting bail to 26/11 Mumbai serial blast mastermind Lakhvi in Pakistan. Swami Assemanand was arrested for allegedly masterminding deadly attack on the Samjhauta Express in 2007, in which killed 68 people were killed.
In his tweet, Mr Abdullah questioned, ”How is the Indian justification of bail for #Aseemanand any different from the Pakistani justification of bail for #Lakhvi?.”
Aseemanand was arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) on December 26, 2012.
