MACAU: Personal computer and printing major HP Inc will launch its second calling device ‘HP Elite x3’ in India later this year.
“Elite x3 is a full blown single computing device across a variety of usage patterns… You can make calls too. It is slated to be launched later this calendar year,” HP India Managing Director Rajiv Srivastava told PTI.
The US-based Hewlett-Packard is yet to announce the price of the product.
The company said Elite x3 is the first built-for-business mobile device to deliver phablet, laptop and desktop business productivity in a single device.
This device has dual sim slots with 5.96 inch diagonal screen, runs on Windows 10 and is fitted with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
HP Elite x3, slated to be launched in October in India, offers all features of a mobile device, such as long-life battery, wireless charging and two high-resolution cameras.
The company will sell Elite x3 with all the accessories such as optional HP Desk Doc for external monitor support and optional Lap Dock to create laptop experience using 12.5 inch diagonal HD display.
The device sports 16 megapixels (MP) flash-enabled rear camera and 8 MP front camera. HP launched its first calling device ‘Slate VoiceTab’ in 2014. (AGENCIES)
