JAMMU, Sept 7: Continuing towards its commitment towards safety and security of consumer, HPCL today conducted Safety Clinic through their LPG distributor Shivangi Gas Service at Lawrence Public School, Sidhra.
The safety clinic was attended by teachers and students. Anees Jeelani Qari, Senior Sales Officer, HPCL delivered lecture on safety aspects of LPG and safe handling of LPG cylinders used in houses.
Only standard and ISI marked equipments like hot plate, LPG surakhsha hoses and oil company supplied LPG regulators should be used as using of non-standard equipments is an unsafe practice, which lead to disaster on account of fire in LPG.
Practical demonstrations were also given by safety consultants Neetu Jamwal and Harbhushan Bharti, proprietor Shivangi Gas.
A safety quiz was also conducted and prizes were distributed among the students.
