HSS criticizes Govt for demanding security from Langer people

JAMMU, June 24: Hindu Shiv Sena  (HSS) J& K has criticized the Government for demanding security from Langer people who are going to extend facilities for the Amarnath pilgrims.
In a statement issued here today president of the Sena Krishan Singh Manhas said that it is on record that no security was demanded from langer people till 2015 and now Government has issued order that each Langer Management Committee should deposit Rs 20,000 who are going to serve free food and other items to pilgrims.
He said the administration which was earlier constructing sheds for langer people at Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar has not taken any initiative in this regard till date and langer people have been asked to construct sheds on their own expenses which is unfortunate.
Mr Manhas criticized the State Government for ignoring the basic facilities  to Amarnath pilgrims.
