JAMMU, Mar 20: In order to enrich the learning experiences of students about biotechnology, an educational visit to IIIM was organised today by Government Higher Secondary School, Muthi.
During the visit, the students were apprised of recent techniques used in the field of biotechnology. They got first hand experience of plant tissue culture-its application and scope in integrated medicine and crop improvement. Students also visited herbarium and learnt about the medicinal value of different parts of the plant.
During the visit, which was organised on the direction of Principal R L Gupta, the students were accompanied by their teacher Daizy Rani Koul and Roopali Sharma.
