JAMMU, Aug 24: Jammu and Kashmir Housing & Urban Development Department (H&UDD) has accorded sanction to the appointment of Dr Bashir Ahmad Bhat (Vice Chairman, J&K Lake Conservation and Management Authority) as an Inquiry Officer (IO) to conduct an in-depth inquiry into the matter and pinpoint the staff of Municipal Council (MC) Kulgam, MC Pahalgam and MC Aishmuqam responsible for lapses and violating the scheme guidelines of SBM under IHHL component.
Further, according to the order, Rafeeq Ahmad, Deputy Director (Administration), Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir has been appointed as Presenting Officer in the case.
It further mentioned that the Inquiry Officer shall submit the report within a period of one month from the date of issuance of the order.
