JAMMU, Dec 9: Government MAM College celebrated Human Rights Day by organising one day workshop on Human Rights and Dignity in collaboration with Nation Human Rights, Social Council of India and NGO support.
Dr Navneet founder of Edusupport and National Chairperson National Human Rights, Social Justice Council India, President All India Sustainable Development Council for Human Rights and Child Welfare and Dr Vipin Nischil, Director NGO support for Drug De Addiction were the Resource persons for the workshop.
Prof Bharti Slathia Head BBA Department presented the welcome address.
Prof GS Rakwal Principal of the College emphasized that Human Rights are necessary to provide every human the basic dignity to live.
Dr Vipin Nischil demonstrated a few yoga techniques to educate the students about living a holistic life.
Nipun a student of BA 5th Semester of the College and a NSS volunteers opined that human rights gain meaning when they became a reality in daily life.
